I have been working on my binding. About 25% tacked down. Miles to go yet.
Today I took time to give the older machines (Singer 221 and 301) a spa treatment: cleaning, degreasing and relubing the gears, making sure the motor grease ports were well supplied, etc. And voila! My trusty 301 is purring like a happy kitten again. So no need to haul her in for a professional appointment.
I started working on the guild bom because I would like to teach a friend who is a relatively new quilter and it's always best if I do a run through on my own first, because any false starts I make will be confusing.
More on that tomorrow, and back to binding for me.
