I am determined to make On Ringo Lake my first finish of 2018. Despite a sudden unexplained dip in quilting energy, I managed to get it sandwiched and basted yesterday, and started quilting this morning.
It is a twin sized quilt top that is extremely heavy due to all the pieces and seams. So I will have to quilt it in sprints, after I rectify a stitch skipping issue.
I didn't make it to my bee this week, so I haven't worked on my handstitching at all. I was able to spend more time on my charity crochet. I have to finish the edging on a baby blanket for a February donation and sew the buttons on a little sweater I made. Then I need to start items for the holiday bazaar and a lap robe for the Veterans Admin nursing home.
