Stitching and planning

I finished the starband and began stitching it to the center. 

Then I began planning the rest of the colors for this one on paper. I was delighted to see how far I have come. I will be glad when I can move on to a new project though.

I started cleaning out the big craft closet. I threw out a lot of non quilty fabrics that i will never use, put aside some stuff for the giveaway corner at the guild, and bagged up some antique linens to send to the antique store.  

I need to remind myself how tedious it was to clean out my mom's stuff and get rid of things that i am sure my kids won't want.
