If you don't have strings, you aren't a scrap quilter. Leftover long strips from truing up fabric, anything less than two inches and not smaller than 3/4-1" (yes I have used 3/4" in small string blocks, sewing with a scant quarter seam), and perhaps that string is a little wonky. It's all ok. Sew them on foundation paper, used dryer sheets, or tightly woven fabric for stabilization, whatever you prefer.
It feels like 2019 is the year of the string (I am sure it will happen again in a few years) for many of us.
So I decided to join yet another online challenge: The All About Strings Blog Hop, coming up in March. Hosted by Carla. Take a look, hop in, and/or pass the word.
