I should be able to make good progress on this today....i am working in groups of three and then stitching the threesomes together. I should only have a few long seams to drive me batty. I sew best with the convex piece on top but itis getting easier every day to do these curves. Ways a good feeling to master a new skill.
You doing good and I love all the blues you are using! I've done three apple core quilts now and have figured out a system to sewing them together. Please go here for a tutorial:

DeleteWow! I had apple core on my to do list this year but have yet to try! Yours is beautiful and I'm going to check out Rose Marie's tutorial. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely a good feeling to master a new skill! Those look great, and are pretty in blue!
ReplyDeleteNot sure i want to do another of these.....
DeleteThat is SEW pretty!!
ReplyDeleteAre those die cut? I have that Accuquilt die, but I'm not a fan of sewing long strips of them together either. I don't use it very often.
ReplyDeleteWoo! Hoo! A finish!!! Looks great and probably feels even better!
