Allietare Clue 1 Linkup

Let's see if I do this right. Trying to join the Allietare Linkup.

60 HSTs sewn and trimmed for Clue 1. What do you think about the rather dark tan on the upper left? Too close in value to the Gray? I will make extra in case this doesn't work.  I am going to make about 250-200 of these this week, as I don't need a bed sized quilt.

Progress has been slow, because I continue to work on the Sew Together bags.

Got three more in progress, and have the liners just about all done.

Clue 1 looks good. I admire your courage at tackling TWO Sew Together Bags!! I have yet to make one, as the pattern intimidates me.

Thanks, it is not an easy pattern. I finished one and am making three more to give away. If you do try it, feel free to reach out if you get stuck at any point.

I'm making my first Sew Together bag, as well as starting my first mystery quilt. It's been a big week...

I don't think the tan is too close to the grey. But of course, we don't know if it is the value or the colour that will be important in the end!
Love your neutrals, nice & warm. interesting bags too. I like that! Quiltorium! your kitties are beautiful.

I just stopped by your blog, and see that you are multicraftual like me! I will link to your blog so I can find you again! Let me know what you think of the Sew Together Pattern, I think it is a great concept but the pattern could use some upgrades.

Quiltorium actually comes from a motto I made up at a quilt retreat years ago....Festinemus ad quiltoriuma! (let's hurry to the quilt room, or something like that) I need to check it with someone who knows more than two years of Latin....

Vireya, that's the fun of being a scrappy quilter. There's always a bit of mystery to every quilt.
