A mini four patch sweatshop effort

I decided to add two more rows to the square dance quilt.  

Had to cut almost 400 1.5" squares and sew 56 four patches plus the squares that fram the center yellow block. Luckily, i had enough nine patches. 



I think i will move up to 2" strips for my next svrappy adventure.

  1. Oof! That's a lot of squares! But I sure do like the look of small patchwork; it allows so much more variety in the scrappiness :)

  2. Thanks Louise. I am really going to move on to bigger squares next. It's my only hope for using up all this fabric. Although the really ugly stuff only works if it's cut very small......
