There is no doubt about it. These finicky little star points are the worst part of this pattern. I couldnt imagine paper piecing them and am so thankful for Inklingo.
I try to avoid piecing them in as slivers although that is entirely doable with Inklingo. If you look at the connector pieces I have bounded by my pencil and scissors in this next photo you can imagine how much easier it is to piece in these larger chunks.you can also see how small those star points are by the cutting mat gridlines.
Clyde was so kind to let me finish this much today. I think he would spend the whole day on my lap if I let him.
