Finished the borders on Good Fortune.

So glad to be done with this. I will look through backing options tomortow and try to push it right through. I am still on the fence about the colors so it runs a high risk of becoming a forgotten quilt top. As you csn see i had to fudge the borders with that slab of purple in the middle. Next year maybe i will cut back to 1/3 of the blocks. This is too big for a wallhanging.

  1. I ended up with "fudging" on mine, too. Bonnie's border measurements needed all 49 blocks to work right, unfortunately. Oh well, yours still looks really great! That purple rectangle is a design feature :)

  5. It looks bright and happy! If you don't love it yourself, I'm sure you could find someone who would love to have it. I know some little girls who would love all that pink and purple.
