Fiddly Little Seams

Big news first. Spring is here. Crocuses have made their bold appearance at last.
We cleaned out the last of the fall oak leaves from the front flower bed to celebrate yesterday.

Between this yardwork, the addition of watercolor class to the weekly schedule, and a start on the income tax tasks, precious little quilting has happened this week.

Today I worked on the borders for my emerald city block. Lots of small seams and little pieces.  While at that I made some random small nine patches for my tumalo trail project. I need to finish piecing the three layers of the borders together.

I also need to clear off the cutting area after all this fun.
